The burning performance of a candle depends on an array of factors such as the candleˇ¦s size, shape, oil contents as well as the melting points. In addition, the dyes, wicks and the different types of scented oils also play an important role but the most important element falls to ------- the additives!
Without the right additives being added to the raw waxes, it is not possible to produce a good-burning candle. |
For example, a 3x3 pillar of 300 gms. that normally lasts for about 40 hours may only burn for as low as 5 hours if the candle was poorly made with the wrong additives. The reasons are : first of all, a large portion of the wax may drip or leak out un-burned and wasted! Seconly, the edge of the candle may deform, causing it to curl or roll outwards resulting in wastage of un-burned wax. We will show you more in details as you browse through our website. |
