| OPTALENE™ is a proprietary formula mixture of different wax additives including polyethylene and copolymers. The principle is based on a co-polymerization process which adds flexibility to the molecule by modifying the crystalline structure of the finished product. Typically, branching makes the polymer softer and more flexible, increasing the hydrocarbon solubility, raising the melting point, and increasing the melt viscosity. The paraffin of the burning candles melts uniformly and thus facilitates the candles to burn consistently without remaining walls at the circumference of the candles. |
